SERVICE / 03 · ANDROID PLATFORM
Android security
Beyond the app: the components it exposes, how processes talk to each other, and the native surface where the system parses data it does not control.
Android is not just the application. It is what an exported component leaves reachable, how data crosses processes through intents and binder, and what happens in the native code that decodes an image or a file that arrived from outside.
We work that surface with our own research: we review exported components, IPC paths, and the native ground where a malformed input can change system state.
What we look at
- Exported components: activities, services, providers and receivers
- Inter-process communication: intents, binder and permissions
- Native surface: codecs and libraries that parse external data
- App storage, permissions and communications
What you get
- Component analysis
- IPC paths
- Native surface
- Evidence and retest
